The secretive Ringling Bros. "circus" competes with another "circus" out of Branson East and Vegas, and we suspect both shows are such creatures of schtick as to not deserve the name "circus" anymore, but have thoroughly blended in with the mechanical attractions of the arena biz, of the mechanical rock "concerts" and the mechanical ice shows and the mechanical wrestling shows, and have become just "entertainment."
