In fairness to the Decayed Triumvirate (and it is difficult on their huge wealth) Web politicking can often degenerate into mobocracy. Witness
little's Tarzan yells over a professor who attempted to refute that the Rathergate memos were frauds. InstaPundit has said the Web can't destroy reputations, and he is ostensibly wrong; God knows how many (to use that classic phrase) "urban legends" it's launched, without clear or easy refutation. I feel sorry for this man, caught up now in hundreds of angry e-mails.
In further fairness though, he should have made it quite clear from the start which presidential candidate he contributed to -- and he should have been more careful with his superscripts.
