If these folks are saying what I think they're saying, I'd rather they didn't say it.
Fortunately:
None of the literary novels related to 9/11 have yet attracted large readerships.
And even Joyce Carol Oates, the HERR DOKTOR SONDHEIM of LITERATEEYURE, seems to doubt books are the best medium either. But then we doubt most LI-TE-RA-RY writers could tell their way out of a thimble.
