Sighhhhhhhhh, here I go again: it's this kind of advanced legalism that will bring Republicans down -- the idea that their heavily-vetted corruption is for the greater good. But OMERTA's legalism does no good either because we know he's after this guy not for his corruption, but because he's a REPUBLICAN.
Sometime ago I said if the DEMOCRATS were a decent party the REPUBLICANS would be in the same forlorn place as CANADA'S PROGRESSIVE CONSERVATIVES. I STAND BY THAT STATEMENT.
