CHRONOLOGY-Fed funds rate changes since 1990 By Reuters | June 29, 2006 NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve raised the benchmark federal funds rate to 5.25 percent from 5.00 percent on Thursday, the central bank's 17th consecutive interest-rate hike since it began tightening monetary policy in June 2004.
