A smidgin of good news among the better-than-ever media buncombe:

'Lot of Weakness' in Spending Among Top Ad Categories

Unfortunately:

TV and magazines performed well, which should help quiet occasional questions about the future of either medium.

However:

TNS has predicted that ad spending in the U.S. will show just a "tepid gain" of 2.6% in 2007.

And then come THE GAMES, and the ELECTIONS, and it's back to the world of better-than-ever.
