Ken Lewis of BofA started in '69 and was presumably just a junior exec during the '73 recession, and he probably vaguely remembers that, and he may have glanced off the '81 model too. Not to sugar coat the present mess but we wonder what the real old timers would know, and whether they might find some people guilty of self-fulfilling hyperbole.
