Here's the problem with starchitects: They give us ugly CRITICALLY-ACCLAIMED buildings or they give us this. In the twenties, in a truly golden age of architecture, it would have been gorgeous; today it looks like Boston's City Hall, improved. That this went up in Prague means nothing; STARCHITECTURE and such uninspired blocks can rise anywhere.
And for JonBoy's site to proclaim an "age of excess" is receding says his hacks haven't surfed ARCHDaily!
