In March, 1938, Wall Street was rocked by revelations that Richard Whitney, a former chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, had embezzled money from that organization and some of its customers. Whitney, who was still an NYSE board member, was expelled, and most of the board resigned.
And Larry Kudlow would have said, HE DESERVED THE MONEY!!!!!
