Well! So much for that treason.
We'll never know if Capt. Yee did something nasty or was a victim of circumstance, but I love the reason for dropping the charges: "In the grand scheme of things, and in the interest of national security, Gen. [Geoffrey] Miller [the commander at Gitmo] felt like the charges needed to be dropped.'' In other words, we can indict you on national security, and when we don't have a case, we can drop the charges on national security. NEATO! What else do John ASHcroft and Co. have up their sleeves?
