Happily John Luik, who is apparently
the John Lott of videogames, falls into the same trap as the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL Sens. Rodham and Lieberman: he attempts to quantify something that can't be quantified. Indeed we are surprised that in typical glibertarian fashion he doesn't credit videogames for the reduction in crime. Those who object to videogames could more profitably do so on moral and aesthetic grounds, pointing to our cultural past. Instead they resort to number inventions, creating an enormous bright Day-Glo target for equal and opposite preeners and demagogues.
