There is even a case--I have made it somewhere, but can't find the reference--for disenfranchising people who make their living from public funds.
I think there's a case for disenfranchising hoity-toity pundit-bloggers who spend their lives fomenting stupid fights with other hoity-toity pundit-bloggers.
