TRANSLATION: Volkswagen wastes money building cars for the AUDIOPHILES of the HIGHWAY.
Let's see someone go at 253 MPH in this beauty! Most of these cars will hardly ever leave the garage. At that speed, the tires would begin to soften in about half an hour. Fortunately, at top speed, it runs out of gas in 12 minutes. "It's a safety feature," Wolfgang Schreiber, the Veyron's chief engineer, says with a smile. So what is the point of building a car that allegedly goes 253 MPH if it begins to self-destruct in half-an-hour? I doubt even St. Warren's company would insure it. VOLKSWAGEN DOES IT -- AGAIN!
