Democrats have reined in their use of the "culture of corruption" mantra in their efforts to oust congressional Republicans from power, fearing the slogan would backfire after two senior members of their own party were implicated in ethical scandals.
We will keep mum on bad timing. Setting the RED-STATE SCORPION neatly aside, I've frequently blasted news hacks for their obvious and offensive liberal bias. I've also said if the shoe were on the other foot it would fit quite comfortably. When Rev's paper runs stuff like this it merely prints a mirror image of what the Post or other leading CW papers would do. Does it ever occur to knee-jerk partisans right and left that both their sides are corrupt? No, or else they wouldn't be knee-jerk partisans.
