I do not have the foggiest idea why people use news aggregators besides Google News. If people had a decent collection of bookmarks, including every big mainstream news Web site (and yes, that's where the news still comes from), they wouldn't need aggergators. And the Holy Grail of finding the needle of wisdom in the haystack of Web dross remains just that -- a Grail.
And judging from what I just saw the Digg.com audience's choices are ASININE.
