This is the sort of tiny eyeball-rolling moment that reminds one of all the news-biz' bigger eyeball-rolling moments. If there's one thing a hack can't resist, it's a stupid pun. It's his Oscar Wilde moment, his time to bask in the sun of a witty apho...apho...a witty saying. And his idea of wit is the third grader's, and the third grader would cringe. And third graders run the news biz, and treat us like infants.
And what is the point of the pun? Isn't the Westminster Dog Show out of Manhattan?
